Take a peek at how I took this frock from frump to fantastic in minutes with a very easy vintage silk dress refashion:
I snagged that lovely yet dowdy silk frock from my stash.
Check out those groovy ballerinas!
I chopped it to my desired length.
Took out those deflated shoulder pads.
Carefully removed the trim from the chopped bottom.
Stitched it back on to the bottom of my shortened dress and hemmed up the inner slip lining.
And my loose & lovely silk dress was ready for a mommy’s day feast (& just perfect with my munchkin painted shoes!).
