Trying to find the perfect swimsuit is an adventure in frustration that can absolutely mess with your self esteem. Sizes that vary greatly from brand to brand, styles that are impossible to put on, fitting rooms with the most unflattering light and mirrors all combine to create the worst possible buying experience.
I’d been put off getting a new suit for far too long so when I noticed that Aerie had a line of swimwear made from recycled materials I thought it was time to dive into a new bikini (or two)!
Check out how I put these suits to the test and discover my honest thoughts (+ a bit of refashionista dancing) with my Aerie Swim Review & Try-On (size large):
I’m relieved at least one suit is a keeper, even if I did have to refashion it a bit!
I wish this would have fit better as the print is adorable but no support on top and too big on the bottom means it won’t be joining my wardrobe.
Another fab pattern and comfy fabric but awkward fitting bottoms + too small cups and too loose back and straps equal an uncomfortable suit that won’t be worn.
YES! Perfectly fitting bottoms and a top that needed only minor adjustments to tighten up the back = a definite keeper!
