I created my version of that fantastic feminist skirt by simply popping a plastic-covered piece of cardboard in between the fabric layers and then carefully drawing on the letters with a silver permanent marker. (Covering the entire pair of palazzo pants took about 6 hours and 2 full markers – streaming a few Helen Mirren movies while working definitely makes refashioning more enjoyable!)
