Got scarves hiding in a drawer that you never actually wear? Before you donate them, take another look because those pretty pieces of already-hemmed fabric can become some seriously fabulous clothes!
In this video I’m sharing some of my favourite surprisingly easy scarf refashions, including tops, a cardigan, a dress and even a project that combines an old scarf with a bedsheet. Most require only basic sewing skills, and there’s even a no-sew idea too.
And for those scarves you do want to keep as scarves, I’ve included some of my favourite easy ways to style them, plus a bonus DIY storage idea I’ve been using for years.
As always, you don’t need professional sewing skills, fancy equipment or a shopping trip to start refashioning. Dig through what you already have, experiment and see what happens!
