I’m 53 today! And apparently the best way to celebrate was to recreate the pink floral bubble dress I wore to a school dance when I was 13 in 1986.
Obviously I wasn’t going to make a replica from scratch. I thrifted a fabulously 1980s pink dress and refashioned it instead!
It needed to be upsized, bubbled, flowered and generally made considerably more ridiculous before it was ready for the ultimate 13 vs. 53 reveal.
