Check out how I transformed my DIY Helen Mirren copycat maxidress into this Sharon Horgan maxiskirt:
Step 1: I removed the top of the dress. Step 2: I folded over the waist area making sure it was wide enough to hold the elastic. Step 3: I stitched the waistband casing together leaving a small opening for the elastic. Step 4: I popped a safety pin through the end of the elastic and fed it all the way through the casing then stitched the ends of the elastic together and sewed the opening closed.
Sharon’s take no BS attitude is awesome too!
Leopard print blouse (swapped) $0 – Necklace (had for years) $0
