I’ve once again had some blast from the past inspiration from my younger self and recreated the fabulous wrap skirt seen on 90’s moi:
it’s always hilarious to look back on the oh-so-cool-young-me
Here’s how to make your own 90’s inspired wrap skirt:
Thrift yourself a long A-line elastic waist skirt a couple of sizes too big for you & snag two coordinating buttons.
Remove the elastic from the waist.
Chop straight up the center of the front of the skirt. My skirt had a weird seam up the front so I simply opened it up.
Hem up all of the raw edges of the skirt.
Wrap it comfortably around your waist, decide where you would like the buttons & mark.
Create your button holes at your marks on the outside portion of the wrap.
Stitch on your buttons & enjoy your fancy new wrap skirt!
