I have a love/hate relationship with the colour yellow.
I often discover fab sunshine coloured tops and dresses while thrifting but when I hold them up for a look in the mirror my face automatically becomes a sickly greenish hue, ugh! I can however absolutely pull off a lemony golden glow away from my rosy cheeks:
Check out the info and tutes behind my Yellow for #ThriftyThursday ensemble + take a peek at the two groovy clothing swaps I attended for Earth Day & Fashion Revolution:
Sunglasses (thrifted) $0.50 – Faux Leather Jacket (thrifted & refashioned) $6 – Scarf (had for years and refashioned) $0 – Vintage Dress (had for years & no sew refashioned) $0 – Tights (inherited) $0 – Boots (had for years & refashioned)
Total outfit cost: $6.50
Shorten that vintage dress without sewing with my crazy easy tute:
I attended the Drop, Swap & Shop for Earth Day at the Evergreen Brick Works and not only scored fab refashioning victims but also some groovy bits for the kiddo and useful items for the house too!
The Fashion Zone at Ryerson Uni hosted an awesome clothing swap for Fashion Revolution Week with fantastic preloved fashion and accessories as well as a mini marketplace featuring student designers and stylists.
I’ll be sharing my swap scores in an upcoming video so stay tuned to help me decide how to transform it all!

Great bargain, Sheri. I have the same, hate and love, relationship with pink, especially fuchsia. However if yellow, in your case, is away from your face, it is fine. Not bad way to enjoy it, I reckon😉
