I am super chuffed to introduce my very first not-only-a-chain-stitch crochet project:
A pair of patternless finger crocheted munchkin slippers!
I followed the advice left in the comments of my last crochet chain project:
“Just stick the hook into some of that chain and pull up a loop, you can do it.” – knotrune
“…And if you don’t like it, it’s easy to unravel – far easier than knitting!” – jenny_o
With chunky yarn I find finger crochet to be much easier than using a hook…
although I’m thinking the next pair should be made a with wee bit tighter crochet!
Socks are a must with my first-try-slippers!
Very cool! I think they came out adorably sweet!
I don’t think I shall ever even begin to remotely reach your level of crochet awesomeness but it’s definitely fun to play around with the yarn!
Glad you tried it
see it’s not so hard! I’ve never tried finger crochet, don’t think I’d take to it, and my poor hooks would feel left out (I have some lovely vintage/antique bone ones).
They are sooo cute! Especially with small toes peeking outside!
Grazie Zia Anna! <3
