Remember my fabulous thrifted Norwegian style leggings?
Unfortunately after a second washing, calamity struck and they shrank nearly 20cm in length!
Any idea how I oh-so-quickly lengthened those too short leggings?
Here’s my DIY fix:
I grabbed those shrunken leggings & chopped the bottom half of the sleeves from a coordinating sweater
sliced off the bulky hem on the bottom of the leggings
popped the chopped sleeves over the legging legs with right sides facing & raw edges lined up and then stitched them together
zigzagged over the outside seam for extra strength
and my leggings were once again fit for the outside world!
