Remember my awesome Celine Dion copycat look?
I’m totally in love with my colourful version of her floofy skirt!
Take a peek at how I created my fabulously fluffy puffy skirt from upcycled & preloved materials below!
I grabbed a preloved skirt with a lining + my massive stash of unraveled bath puffs!
I always thoroughly rinse and hang my bath puff to dry after use and change it every few weeks. Before upcycling my bath puffs I make sure they are bacteria and germ free by giving them a soak in an equal parts hot water and white vinegar mixture.
My skirt was longer than Celine’s so I chopped it to my desired length.
Then gave it (and the lining) a nice hem.
I then oh-so-carefully stitched layer after layer of unraveled bath puffs around the skirt!
I absolutely adore this skirt and it looks pretty fab with a variety of tops and tights!
