(more) Upcycled Toy Earrings

Whip up a pair of quirktastic earrings in minutes with my quick DIY:

Raid your kiddo’s stash of little toys & grab a couple of lightweight items, earring hooks, 2 jump rings (mine are from a broken necklace) + pliers (or whatever you have on hand) to put it all together.

I have no idea where those adorable mini vintage book covers came from but they were perfect for earrings!

Decide where you’d like the earring hook to be and poke a hole through the toy in that position. (As the book covers were thick cardboard I was able to use an embroidery needle, if your toys are plastic check out my alternative method here)

I used my first hole as a template for the second.

Attach the jump rings + earring hooks and secure it all together.

Repeat with the other toy and enjoy your adorably quirky earrings!
