Cut Out Collar T-Shirt Refashion

Hands up if you love quick and easy refashions with unique results!

Whip up your own asymmetrical top with my cut out collar t-shirt refashion below!

Grab an oversized long sleeved tee + your trusty scissors.

Fold the tee in half with the shoulder seams and arms lined up and chop the sleeves to your desired length.

Flip the shirt inside out and carefully cut along the seam of the collar from just behind the shoulder seam to about the middle of the front of the collar.

Pop the shirt on and if you like the result, you’re done!

If the shirt doesn’t look quite right around the collar area read on for the quick & easy fix:

Grab your scissors and decide how much of the excess collar fabric needs to be removed.

Cut off the excess fabric making sure to remove that bulky shoulder seam too.

Stitch the chopped collar ends together.
