Yup 😀 Unfortunately not all seams are created the same and this hem was hand sewn with a very thick thread that resembled fishing line and each individual stitch was double knotted making it impossible to simply slide the seam ripper through the stitches.

Most of the patches I use are chopped from other preloved items 😀 I have another one of those awesome phasers too – they’re from a super small dress I thrifted years ago in Europe.
