  1. It’s funny you posted this about patchwork and then showed a picture of jeans. I’ve been working on a patchwork jeans myself. I took a darker pair of jeans, that had a bad wait area and raggedy leg hems, and sewed them into the legs of my favorite falling apart jeans. Then, wherever a hole or weak spot appears I make a patch. The last time around I actually spent several days embroidering a rose bloom on the knee of my right leg in white thread. Otherwise I have two other areas I’ve already completed. I envision the entire jeans being covered either in patchwork like that or in random stiches to make it a piece of art.
