At 168cm (5’6″) I’m definitely not the tallest gal in the world but I’m also not nearly as towering as denim designers apparently think I should be which means every single pair of jeans that fit me in the waist are hilariously long in the leg! Thankfully I’ve come up with some crazy simple ways to make my delightful thrifted denim the perfect length:

Grab those thrifted jeans that need shortening.
1. Snag a pair of jeans from your closet with a similar waist-height and your ideal length & place them on top of the too long jeans with the waistband & crotch lined up. 2. Mark the length. 3. Chop off the excess.

Easy peasy!
Launder the jeans and then chop off unwanted frayed bits – or leave them for a more deconstructed look!
