How do you keep a toddler busy when you’re oh-so-busy yourself?
…by creating a funky I spy game together!
Grab your munchkin & let’s get makin’…
You’ll need: paper, scissors, crayons, a glue stick & magazines for chopping
cozy up with your kiddo, flip through the magazines & chop out the pics that strike their fancy (this is also a sneakily great method for teaching some new vocabulary, sentence building and please & thank-you’s)
once all of the photos are cut out, slap some glue on the back & let your kidlet stick ’em to the paper
release the crayon artiste for some fabulous added colour
stick the completed game paper near your work-space and enjoy a rousing game of I spy with my little eye (out of the corner of your own eye) while you try to meet that deadline, write that overdue e-mail, stitch that refashion or simply finish dinner…
