The Stay Put Scarf – a kiddo DIY

As Old Man Winter continues to rear his frosty head in Berlin I’m having to come up with sneaky methods to keep the neck of my scarf-scorning tot wrapped in warmth. My latest savvy solution?

A button-holed scarf! Create one for your own persnickety munchkin in 10 minutes flat with The Stay Put Scarf – a kiddo DIY:

Snag a kiddo scarf & your groovy button hole foot.

Fold one end of the scarf just under halfway up to the other end & mark with a pin.

Stitch a button hole at the marked area, then add a some more a few centimeters apart.

carefully slice through the button holes

et voila!

A scarf that’ll stay put…

and will even withstand the brute-pulling-strength of an outraged kidlet!
