…a garish, over-the-top bit of bijou I picked up at the thrift store – hideous as a whole but perfect for demolition & recreation!
I began by carefully removing the beads from the chain
for each bauble that was detached I reattached 2 – 3 of the chain-rings
by the time I was finished removing & reattaching I not only had a funky new chain but also a load of beads, jump rings, chain pieces & bits n’ bobs for future projects
to complete the reconstructed treasure I snagged 3 of the original necklace beads, some wire & my trusty pliers to create…what else but…
one of my fantastic XXL family egg-y nests!
