DIY Doggie Leisure Pants – healing help for quirky canines

Honestly now, how many dogs would let their owners not only MAKE them funky leisure pants, complete with a groovy white belt but actually WEAR said pants AND –  as an additional bonus – the satellite head-gear, all with no complaint? Our dog is fantastic!

*the poor boy just got “snipped” – hence the headgear – and the pants were a creation to cover his bandages…

Here’s how I made them:

Pants = a pair of old black tights (cut off the legs to desired length, slip on dog, carefully cut hole for tail, EVEN MORE CAREFULLY cut hole for winkie/peepee)

Belt = Medical tape (once the pants are on and all holes cut, wrap tape around the waist –  snug enough so the pants stay put but not so tight that circulation is cut off)
