I know, I know, Ugly Betty premiered in 2006 and I’m over a decade late but as I was living abroad it wasn’t until very recently that I was finally able to check out that groovtastic series when it was finally released on amazon prime.
America Ferrera is a total delight in this role and, although Betty’s outfits are more than a bit over the top, I absolutely love her quirky style!

I created my instant braces by simply twisting up a small strip of foil and shaping it around my teeth – it needed constant adjusting but absolutely added the metallic smile required for the copycat look!
