Whip up a super sweet mini garden from items you may already have around the house!
Raid your junk drawer, stash + your kiddo’s toys and create an adorable upcycled teacup garden with my simple DIY!
Step one: Grab an old tea or coffee cup, glue, a popsicle stick, toothpicks, a ground for your garden (such as dirt, stones, beads, dried moss or grass) as well as few tiny toys or mini decorations to furnish your tiny landscape.
My lovely antique cup & saucer is part of a set that I inherited when I lived in Germany. Unfortunately there are more than few chipped pieces, fortunately I’m able to give them a groovy new life through upcycle and DIY!
Step two: Create a cute ladder by simply cutting a popsicle stick in half and gluing a few trimmed toothpick rungs to each piece.
Step three: Fill your cup with the ground for your garden then stick your tiny furnishings in place and enjoy your charming new decor!
Display your garden with your house plants and wait for the fairies to drop by for a tea party!
