Thrift and charity shops are chock full of gorgeous vintage tunics, unfortunately their awkward length and loose fit makes them a wee bit frumpy to wear as is, luckily I have a crazy quick and easy fix that’ll update them in no time flat!
Grab my Simple Vintage Tunic Refashion below and transform those dowdy tops into wardrobe faves in a flash!
Pop on the tunic and mark to your desired length + seam allowance (or simply use a top with your ideal length as a guide).
Chop off the bottom of the tunic and hem.
I fancied up my plain hem with a bit of vintage lace.
Gorgeous result, right?
That awkward length tunic is now a lovely top that pairs perfectly with my DIY bell bottoms!
