I’d been searching for a pair of chunky heeled Chelsea boots for ages but as my thrift shop karma just wasn’t working for me I decided to have a peek online and managed to score these beauties:
I’m not at all a fan of the faux zippers and buckles but as they’re comfortable and fit great I figured I’d be able to refashion them into something exactly my taste and style:
Success! Here’s what I did:
I carefully removed the faux buckles and the oversized fake zipper pulls.
Grabbed that vintage edelweiss trim from my stash and stitched it over top of the remaining faux zipper.
