Can you spot the simple no-sew trick I used to make my groovy dino t-shirt fit oh-so-much better?

read on for the quick how to no-sew upsize a t-shirt trick:

chopping off the neckline, sleeve & bottom hems + giving the raw edges a bit of a stretch = a much better, less boxy fit & all around more comfortable t-shirt!

From nay to yay in less than 5 minutes! Hooray!
2018 update: it’s still going strong 4 years later:

Psst! I’ve created a groovy category for all of my upsizing tutes right here.

Nice, I will try this at home!
Groovy…it’s a fast yet oh-so-fabulous fix!
Haha. I love your face in the before photo 🙂
Yep…I really dislike ill-fitting tees! 😉
Love this!!! my issue with regular tees is that the neckline feels too constricting and uncomfortable. Doing this would make them much looser and more comfy! Love the shirt, by the way!
Yup…boxy tees are especially constricting for those of us with an..erm…generous bust, amiright? I find chopping the neckline really loosens up the chest area & gives the gals some room to breathe as well 😉
*the awesome shirt was chosen by my dino-crazy kidlet 😀
I have done this with some of my t-shirts I wear in the summer. Its so simple to just cut of the neck and hem and how comfy the shirt gets.
Absolutely Diane…it’s amazing how removing the neckline & hems can so completely change the look & fit of a t-shirt 🙂
