My third & final waterfall neckline fix has parts one & two beat in the smashingly quick & simple department & can even be worn 2 ways:
easy breezy or nicely knotted – create your own in a mere 10 minutes!
Snag that loose fitting waterfall necklined sweater hiding in your stash
*this one was actually formerly employed as my über soft n’ comfy nighttime nursing top – the only thing waterfall necklines appear to be made for: easy boob access!
Lay flat with the excess fabric at the neckline pulled up in line with the shoulder seams.
Locate the centre of the neckline & measure about 15 cm down towards the bottom hem & mark (*larger ‘waterfalls’ will require a longer measurement).
Chop on through to your mark.
Knot the 2 chopped ends & check the fit on yourself, your bust or a hanger – cut more if desired.
Head over to your machine & give the raw edges a nice clean hem. (or leave as is for a deconstructed look)
