Easy Upcycled Temporary DIY Pallet Fence

I’ve created some awesome projects from scrap wood, old furniture and pallets and was absolutely thrilled when the international delivery company let me keep the shipping pallets that held our belongings during their journey from Berlin to Toronto:

And just what did I create with these beauties?

Easy Upcycled Temporary DIY Pallet Fence

A fabulously Easy Upcycled Temporary DIY Pallet Fence perfect for keeping pets and kiddos safe yet simple to remove from a rental property.

The pallets were sanded, painted with all-weather stain, arranged in position and securely attached together + the end pallets were secured to the house on one side and the fence on the other with L-brackets.

A piece of scrap wood is easily transformed into a gate!

I cut the scrap wood to the perfect gate size and gave it some wavy detail too.

Some funky holes were drilled into the gate too allow the strong Toronto wind to pass through.

Once the gate was cut to size it was stained and attached.

Then the groovy fence was decorated and ready for action!

The fence is strong and sturdy enough to keep kiddos and furry friends from running out into the street.

My easy pallet fence has definitely helped to bring some of this refashionista’s personality to our rented house! (and will be super simple to remove and relocate when we move)
