DIY Troll Birthday Cake Toppers

It’s super easy to create some cute and quirky fun to top off your next party edibles:

Grab the easy how-to for my DIY Troll Birthday Cake Toppers + free printable graphics + a fab idea to reuse those adorable figures after the cake is eaten and my cheap & healthy kiddo party snacks!

Print out the troll graphics above or create a few of your own party themed characters.

Grab the printed characters, scissors, packing tape and toothpicks.

Cut out your character graphics.

Cover with a layer of packing tape (= a cheap yet effective ‘fake’ lamination that protects the print from the icing on the cake).

Trim off any excess tape and then attach a toothpick to the back.

Pop the toppers into some groovy cupcakes (perfect for the bday celebration at school).

Create and decorate a colourful cake for the birthday bash!

I’m pretty impressed with my first try at a rainbow cake!

Once the characters are done with the cake remove the toothpicks, grab a needle and thread and string them together to create a mini decor banner for the kiddo’s room:

Easy peasy!

Here’s a couple of quick, easy and relatively healthy party snacks great for kiddos:

Fruit fries and sweet yogurt dip (plain yogurt with brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger & nutmeg)

Veggies and savoury yogurt dip (plain yogurt with oregano, paprika, celery salt & garlic)

A bag of party mix is easily separated to please even the pickiest eater. Add some crackers, toast points or a garlic bread loaf to complete the savoury snack!
