My tiny studio is slowly but surely coming together and I’ve discovered that removing ancient layers of wallpaper certainly takes loads of time and elbow grease but it’ll all be worth it sooner than later.
Our vintage Toronto home came with rather sad and neglected curtains in every room. Luckily the perk of being a make do & mender is the awesome ability to see usefulness in the cast offs of others!
I managed to save some time (+ a lot of money) and gave a fun new look to a couple of pairs of the sheer curtains that had been left behind.
Grab some boring old window coverings and create your own set of No Sew DIY PomPom Curtains from bits you may already have around the house!
Snag a pile of pompoms, freshly cleaned curtains and a glue gun.
Keep the curtains on the rod (to better see the creases and crannies of how they’ll hang), lay them on a flat surface and glue on the pompoms.
Hang up the curtains!
Whip up a set of coordinating curtain ties from 2 lengths of scrap ribbon: I simply looped and knotted the ends of each ribbon and glued on a few pompoms – easy!
Lurvly!
A super simple curtain makeover perfect for my little DIY diva studio!
