Fashion really does just keep circling back to itself over & over again…and I’ve finally been around long enough to see the styles of my youth returning – eek!
Case in Point: The Transparent Trend of the 90’s:
Yep, I once rocked a transparent dress on the roof of the Canadian embassy in Tokyo…
but nowadays the only transparent rocking I’m doing is in Photoshop:
or with an oh-so-subtly transparent blouse!
Sheer-bottomed Top (thrifted) €1 – Collar Brooch (inherited vintage) €0 – Chinos (thrifted) €1 – Penny Loafers (thrifted) €1.50 – Accessories (handmade & gifts) €0 – Transparent Blouse (thrifted & refashioned) €1 – Belt (inherited vintage) €0 – Jeans (thrifted & dyed) €2 – Boots (ebay) €4
Total cost for both outfits: €10.50
Snag some thrifty inspiration (+ join up & share your love of second hand & vintage) over in my Gone Thrifting facebook group!
I love both of these outfits!!! and the throwback pic 🙂
Thank ya, Thank ya! Sadly the black top shan’t be getting worn again as it simply doesn’t give my girls enough coverage – you want it?
