but my brief brush with the ballet must have stuck with me throughout the years as my idea of a Delightfully Dainty look involves tulle, lace & little ribboned shoes.

It’s lovely to get your reply. Thank you for your kind words. It is a special story. I don’t think I ever fully got over my childhood friend moving away, it was like a part of me was taken away. Whenever I see tulle it’s bitter sweet for me. But more sweet than bitter.

yep…I have 4 tattoos – the 2 on my right arm are a sewing machine (on my forearm) & a bunch of sewing gear (on my upper arm). 😀

Yep, that quote is my absolute fave and is one of the main ingredients to a happy life: embracing the silly & losing the fear of embarrassment = the freedom to be who you are (with the added bonus of creating smiles & laughter for others 😉 )

that tulle skirt began life as a curtain and was surprisingly simple to transform into a full floaty skirt! 😀
