NYE Sparkle for #ThriftyThursday

I haven’t gone out for New Year’s Eve in a decade and am usually tucked into bed long before the clock strikes midnight so I’m more than a bit anxious about (possibly) leaving my comfy cozy house to venture out and celebrate with strangers. Will I be the lonely weirdo at the party? Will I be able to stay awake? And most importantly what will I wear?

Help me decide what vintage refashionista outfit is best to wear out on this NYE Sparkle for #ThriftyThursday + check out the tutes behind the looks too & snag my top tips for thrifting vintage!

I recently thrifted that stunning vintage frock for only $3 and am thrilled to report that it fits like a dream and needs no refashioning at all! (I might shorten the sleeves though)

So, which out fit did you decide to wear?

    1. I actually didn’t wear any of them – it was freaking freezing with icy snow blowing in the insane wind so I ended up wearing this jumpsuit with some sparkly accessories: https://awesomesauceasshattery.com/2014/06/05/a-heady-thrift-style-thursday/ 😉

Since you plan to wear the silver boots with the outfit, then my vote is for outfit #2 or #3. I favored #1 until you mentioned the silver boots with it. I like #1 as is shown.

  3. I vote for #1 the sequin skirt. It would look fabulous with a pair of bauble earrings and a sparkly charm bracelet that you’ve diy’ed!😊
