I always spy romantic floaty vintage gowns and ruffled evening wear while thrifting but rarely pick them up as I’m never quite sure where I’d wear them (even after a refashion) however when I spotted this gorgeous handmade beauty on the sale rack I snapped up instantly:
This dress is stunning and fits me perfectly but aside from playing dress-up and creating hilarious photo collages I’m not exactly sure what to do with it. Help me decide if it should be refashioned or left as-is on this Renaissance Style for #ThriftyThursday:

You don’t tell us what fabric the dress is made of. If it can be dyed I spy a wonderful lady vampire dress. You could shorten the hem to make a fab mod tunic top. Cut off the sleeves and shorten the length to make an awesome one-of-a-kind sleeveless top too.
It’s a typical 60s/70s polyester so dying isn’t really an option but I love the powder blue colour and wouldn’t change it anyway 😉
