I’m bursting with excitement and energy the day I leave for a trip and my casually cool, well thought out ensemble of comfy cotton layers definitely reflects my mood:

And just as much as my leaving outfit showcases my high spirits, my returning garb mirrors my total exhaustion:

 My international relocation research & business trip to Toronto (that ended up extending to the American midwest as well) has resulted in double the luggage I left with and some epic jetlag – oof!

My thrifty travel tip: Hold on to those samples of bath & body products for use on your trips! They take up very little space, the packaging can be tossed in a recycling bin and you get to try out some new products for free.
