A Tights are Alright #ThriftyThursday

I   L O V E   T I G H T S ! !

As I’m not in possession of legs that go on for days I’ve found that short(er) skirts and dresses paired with groovy tights really accentuate the finer points of my rather petite yet lurvly gams:

Over the years I’ve amassed (and DIY’d) quite a collection of terrific tights and have managed to keep them in tip top condition with a bit of gentle laundering and careful storage:

I carefully roll my tights from toe to waist and store them in smooth plastic baskets.

The baskets are conveniently stored in the section of my fabulous early 1900’s wardrobe that houses my collection of vintage and refashioned dresses.

Here’s a peek at some of my sustainably stylish tight sporting ensembles:

  1. I could not live without tights, especially here during winter when I still want to wear skirts and dresses. I know some people find tights uncomfortable. I never have this problem. My tights are quite boring compared to yours. You have a nice collection. You know I’ve been snatching up quite a few at the thrift store lately. They’re all brand new and much cheaper than what you’d pay retail for them.

    1. Yup, tights are awesome! I find that a pair of thick tights have pretty much the same amount of warmth as jeans or trousers and are pretty damn cozy in the winter when paired with a knit dress or skirt and knee high boots 😉
