A Lounge Wear Thrifty Thursday

Working 12 – 18 hour days means I don’t get many chances to lounge around but as I work from my tiny home studio and absolutely do not need dress to impress while I’m busy creating I actually spend a lot of time in comfy mismatched lounge wear:

Get the scoop behind my typical lounge wear work day ensemble in my mostly tidy studio:

Oversized Cardi (Refashioned) €0 – Scarf (thrifted) €0.50 – T-shirt (leftover from my failed business) €0 – Thrifted Tablecloth Lounge Pants (me-made) €1 – Slippers (had for years) €0

Total outfit cost: €1.50

A vintage cotton tablecloth dyed in berry red + this tutorial made that fabulous pair of brocade-esque lounge pants!

Love the comfy outfit. I think the pants are my fave. This was kind of what I was going for with a recent bed sheet creation. With the looks I got from my husband and kids, I’m guessing that I did not quite nail it. I think the legs on mine are maybe a tad too wide, and we have strayed into ‘clown’ territory! Meh – I’m happy with my new pants and I wear them all the time (in the house!)

    1. Ach, pant legs can rarely be too wide & swishy! 😉
