A Very Easy Breakfast Scones Recipe (gluten & lactose free!)

Huzzah! The new Ikea brochure has arrived!

Packed full of funky furnishings we don’t need but will hopefully find in the As-is section when we next pop in to waste a day browsing. The clever Ikea flyer designers in Germany included a delightful Tipp:

a cheap, cheerful, quick & scrumptious scone recipe that I just had to try!

Ingredients: 1 cup of (gluten free) flour, 2.5 tsp baking powder, 1/4 cup of butter & 1 cup of your favourite (dairy free) yoghurt

Mix everything together into a sticky dough

Lightly flour your hands (to prevent sticking), form dough into balls & place on a floured baking sheet.

Bake at 200 celsius, 390 fahrenheit, gasmark 7 for 15 minutes – until tops are golden brown

Serve hot with butter! Über-Lecker!

And even tastier when fresh berries are added to the mix!
