Tasty DIY Teething Cookies

Our little sweet pea is in full teething mode (& is sporting 2 shiny new teeth!). We’ve searched everywhere for sugar & chemical-free baby biscuits but apparently they don’t exist – even in natural food stores, pfft!

After a few bizarre & slightly frightening DIY results I finally came up with a quick & easy 3 ingredient combination that the baby & even the dog love to munch on!

Grab 1/2 cup unsweetened all-natural applesauce, 1/2 cup whole wheat flour & 1/2 cup multigrain baby cereal

Gluten free flour & baby cereal work great for those with food allergies too!

Chuck everything together in a large bowl & mix well

if you want to create proper shapes roll out the dough & use cookie cutters

As I was at the end of my experimenting-with-baking rope I just tore off pieces of dough and shaped them with my hands.

Bake at 180C/350F/Gasmark 4 for 15 – 25 minutes.

*less time = softer biscuits & more time = a firmer cracker-style biscuit

Let cool completely.

Enjoy the smiley, drooly, teething result!
