Our little sweet pea is in full teething mode (& is sporting 2 shiny new teeth!). We’ve searched everywhere for sugar & chemical-free baby biscuits but apparently they don’t exist in Germany – even in natural food stores, bah! After a few bizarre & slightly frightening results I finally came up with a quick & easy 3 ingredient combination that the baby, the dude & even the dog love to munch on!
Grab 1/2 cup unsweetened all-natural applesauce, 1/2 cup whole wheat flour & 1/2 cup multigrain baby cereal (a.k.a mush)
Chuck everything together in a large bowl & mix well
if you want to create proper shapes roll out the dough & use cookie cutters
As I was at the end of my experimenting-with-baking rope I just tore off pieces of dough and shaped them with my hands.
Bake at 180C/350F/Gasmark 4 for 15 – 25 minutes.
*less time = softer biscuits & more time = a firmer cracker-y biscuit
