Wrap it up…for free!

I’m a packaging saver…envelopes, tissue paper, bubble wrap…you name it…I have a neatly packed bag full of it!

Why recycle when you can upcycle…right?

This year I decided to raid (some of) my packaging stash:

and create my own super simple gift wrap…

Here’s how it’s done:

Choose a piece of packing paper or part of an envelope or tissue paper or bubble wrap, fold it in half & measure the size you’d like your final wrapped gift to be.

Cut it out

Open your folded paper & turn down all of the edges 1 – 2 cms.

Re-fold your paper in half and stitch it together leaving an opening at one end.

Decorate the outside of your sewn package & place your gift inside. (I used an adorable Victorian envelope printed from the fantastic Graphics Fairy)

Stitch the open end closed.

…add some fabric ribbon & pop it under the tree!
